1. What the Service is
LinkedIn Photo Checker is a free tool that analyzes profile photos in your browser and provides automated scores and suggestions on crop, lighting, sharpness and background, along with a simulated LinkedIn preview and a 400×400 px export.
2. Your photos remain yours
You retain all rights to any photo you analyze. Because all processing happens locally on your device, we never receive, store, copy or license your photos in any way. See the Privacy Policy for details.
3. Scores are guidance, not guarantees
The scores and suggestions are produced by automated heuristics and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional photography, career or recruiting advice, and we make no promise that a higher score will lead to more profile views, messages, interviews or job offers.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and not to:
- analyze photos of other people without their consent,
- attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service for abusive purposes,
- misrepresent the Service or its scores in a misleading way.
5. No affiliation with LinkedIn
The Service is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. "LinkedIn" and related marks are trademarks of LinkedIn Corporation. Any preview shown in the tool is a simulation for illustrative purposes only.
6. Intellectual property
The website's design, text and code (excluding open-source libraries, which remain under their own licenses) are owned by us. You may not copy or republish substantial parts of the site without permission. The face-detection capability is provided by the open-source face-api.js project.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that results will be accurate in every case.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages — including lost opportunities, lost data or lost profits — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Since the Service is free, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use it: zero.
9. Changes to the Service and these terms
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always on this page with its "last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
