Privacy Policy

Your photo never leaves your browser. That's the whole policy, almost.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

The short version: all photo analysis runs locally on your device. We never receive, upload, store or share your photos. We don't require an account, and we don't set any cookies of our own.

1. Photos you check

When you drop a photo into LinkedIn Photo Checker, it is loaded into your browser's memory and analyzed on your device using JavaScript and an on-device face-detection model (TensorFlow.js / face-api.js). The image data is never transmitted over the network to us or to any analysis server. When you close or reload the tab, it's gone.

You can verify this yourself: load the page, turn off your internet connection, and the checker still works.

2. Information we do not collect

3. Third-party services this page loads

The face-detection library and its model files are hosted on our own servers — no third party is involved in the analysis. The only third-party request this page makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the Sora and Inter typefaces. Like any web request, Google can see standard technical data (IP address, browser type, timestamp). Google privacy policy

This request fetches fonts only. Your photo is never included in it.

4. Hosting & server logs

This site is served as static files. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and operational purposes, subject to their own retention policies. We do not combine these logs with any other data.

5. Analytics & advertising

We currently do not run analytics trackers or advertising on this site. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy before enabling anything and explain exactly what is collected.

6. Local storage

The checker keeps your photo and score only in your tab's memory. We do not use cookies, localStorage or IndexedDB to persist anything about you or your photos.

7. Children's privacy

The tool is intended for professionals building a LinkedIn profile and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by LinkedIn in your country). Since we collect no personal data, we hold no data about anyone of any age.

8. Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you believe you have a privacy question or request we can help with, contact us via the contact page and we'll respond.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how this site handles data, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted clearly.

10. Contact
